Intern Search '09

Hey everybody. Garrett and I are looking for an Intern this summer to work on a few Part & Parcel projects we have lined up. We're fairly flexible with scheduling, but we are really looking for someone eager to get their hands dirty and learn a few things. Also, you have to be in NYC (or able to commute into NYC). If this sounds like you send us an email at intern@partparcelny.com

Heard & Not Seen

Heard & Not Seen

I have been mulling over the idea of throwing together a podcast for quite some time, but didn't really have an idea of where to start or even why I should. Last month I tossed around the idea to a few friends and that is how came about. Essentially it will be a sporadically produced podcast of about 45 minutes worth of music "curated" by me and my friends. The first group of guests I have slated to put together a mix should bring something different to the table. I hope you dig.

De' Longhi Artista Series

A few months ago I was approached by 160over90 to make a custom laser-etched espresso machine for De' Longhi. I'm happy to announce that a few of them have been made and will be auctioned off for charity in the coming months. They just put up a little website for the project.

The Programs We Use

For those of you that got out to the SoHo Apple store last week for the AIGA|NY Design Remixed event... THANKS! The event went over really well, surprising us big time. Such a good turnout. I really hope to do more of these in the future.

Fine Line : Cleveland

Fine Line : Cleveland

I had the chance to show some new work earlier this month in Cleveland at the Front Room Gallery in a group show called Fine Line along with Dustin Amery Hostetler, Ryan Santos and a few others. I'll put some photographs up after the show comes down in October. (Photo: Ryan Santos)

New Site. New Work.

dc

So after 2.5 years of the last portfolio site, I decided to redesign. I added a bunch of new work (I got rid of even more). I have a few more projects I am going to put up over the next couple of weeks as they trickle in and I photograph them. I am going to really try hard and update as often as I can. I also wanna thank Justin for dealing with my nagging CSS questions too. Not sure why, but the internet seemed so much easier to make back in the 90s.

Face Basics Screenprint

Face Basics Print

Threadless screenprinted an old design of mine as a part of their new print series. Matt Daly printed them. I just got a few in the mail and the printing and registration is fantastic.

RE:UP

RE:UP

Awhile ago I was invited to participate in RE:UP Magazine's middle signature. The issue just came out a few weeks ago. The theme was FATE & DESTINY and the colors were Blue and Yellow.

RAD Mountain for GOOD Magazine

The Diet Starts Tomorrow

GOOD Magazine opens every issue with some sort of visual representation of the issue's theme. For their 9th issue, my studiomates and I were tapped for their "food" issue. It worked out well, we each got a page. I drew the apple.
