Some deeeep introspection. Originally created as a 20"x20" Giclée print.
I was commissioned by the branding agency 160over90 to provide some art for a handful of De' Longhi's high-end espresso machines. The supplied art was laser-etched onto 5 seperate panels of the machines and will later be auctioned off for charity. I'll update as soon as the auction goes live. Also, if you come over to my apt I'll gladly make you a latté.
I recently had the chance to design the Fall 2008 cover for the Yale University Art Gallery's calendar of events. I took my best stab at a Rube Goldbergian machine with the type.
My spread featured in the 8th issue of Faesthetic. The theme of this particular issue was Infinity. I wanted to focus on man's comprehension of infinity and the universe and how little we really know about anything and its improbably we will ever really understand all of those heavy concepts.
Proposed cover for issue 29 of Argentine Magazine, Atypica. I was commissioned by the art & design publication to create a cover to work within the concept for the issue, which was "Almost 30." Unfortunately, before going to print they scrapped the issue's concept (along with my cover). This illustration was instead featured inside the issue.
Over the past few years I have been contributing type and illustrations to Swindle Magazine. I'll put a few more select spreads in this space soon.
A short children's story (only 4 pages) by Susan McCrystal for the excellent children's magazine, Anorak. The story is about a sad rainbow and his friend the wind.

Hands holding hands.
Spreads from a small booklet I put together containing failed ideas, zine submissions and other experiments made within the year. The zine was inkjet printed on newsprint, and cut pretty sloppily I may add. 28 pages in all, less than 10 made.
An Illustration I made for a 2-page article on Ponoko, a service that enables you to design and actually create physical objects, for Volume 13 of MAKE Magazine.
Something I made in the beginning of the year. It was later featured in the July 2008 issue of Juxtapoz.

I made these for their 2007/08 line.

Full-page illustration and logotype for the feature opener for Issue 14 of Make Magazine.
Originally designed for Tee Shirt Monthly, a project by the Swiss arts foundation Belluard and Lowrider tees. The saying comes from an old shopkeeper's sign. I recently reprinted this tee due to demand.
